Searched for coffee shops near me and found this place just a few miles from my relatives house. I loved the pics and the vibe so I went and checked it out. I love me a good Mazapan Frappe (Mazapan is a peanut candy) and their Mazapan Frappe was absolutely delicious, thick and sweet, but not overpowering. The interior had a few options with different vibes, we chose the comic room which had renderings of superheroes on the walls. Amazing experience and plan to return next time Im in Calexico.

Unique Mexican ambiance. Several cozy spaces and types of seating. Friendly staff. Bomb cafe de olla (I had it iced with a splash of milk) - highly recommended. I hear the raspberry iced tea is good too. Croissant sandwiches are yummy and come with a side of nachos and fresh fruit or ice cream. Unknowingly ended up spending over 4 hours here and they didn't intimidate us to leave and kept checking in on us. Great experience.
